Mission

The Mission of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc. is to promote and protect the interests of African American business and professional women; to serve as advisors for young people seeking to enter business and the professions; to improve the quality of life in our local and global communities, and to foster good fellowship.

A Message from our Governor

Welcome to the website of the Mid-Atlantic District of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs (NANBPWC), Incorporated (Inc). This Association was organized in July,1935 by seven visionary women with a mission of promoting and protecting the interest of African American Business and Professional Women; serving as advisors for young people seeking to enter business and the professions; improving the quality of life in our local and global communities and fostering good fellowship. Our Association is divided into seven Districts across the United States and outside the country, specifically in Africa. The Mid-Atlantic District was established on June 25, 1965,and it is one of the seven Districts with clubs in the following geographic areas: Southern New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.

PRACTICE AREAS

Associate member

Open to business and professional women who wish to support The National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc., on a national or district level.

Member-At-Large

Open to business and professional women who reside in an area where there is no organized club

Beta Psi member

Students who are attending an accredited college, University, business or technical institution

Youth and Mr. B&P

Girls and boys from the ages of 12 to 18 explore ways of giving service to their communities while meeting the challenges set before them

International member

Available to business and professional women who reside outside of the United States of America

Ombudsmen

A men’s auxiliary comprised of the husbands, male relatives or friends of the business and professional club members
